I’ve been teaching for 8 years…

I’ve been teaching yoga for 8 years. Here’s what I’ve learned.

  1. Lean on chosen family. Rewire in good company.

I’ve owned a studio, taught teacher trainings, led women around the world.

Healing tends to stick when it’s witnessed.

2. Every body is working through something unseen.

From pro athletes to bodies recovering from illness, addiction, and ailment- being in a body is a wild ride.

3. You do you well

I’m here to create a container and to get out of the way.

I’m not here to know what’s best for you.

4. One Sun Sal is enough.

Breathing on purpose is enough.

In fact, it’s a whole practice.

5. Language matters. Cues matter.

I’ve had the some of best teachers in the world and taken some really…weird classes.

(If you don’t “like yoga”, try again— your teacher is out there.)

6. It’s a practice, not a perfect.

Poses come and go. Seasons of daily practice followed by long breaks. All good. Just come back and then back again.
